Your first appointment
We will recheck your insurance information and go over your benefits with you. Dr. John Thompson participates in almost all of the insurance programs offered in the State of Minnesota. Advanced Chiropractic of Apple Valley also offers cash plans and payment options for your treatment plan.
Prior to Seeing the Doctor
When you arrive we will ask you to fill out a Health History and the proper insurance paperwork. We also like you to view a short video on Activator Methods Technique so you will understand how you will be treated, so you will have a chance to ask any questions.
Consultation
During your first consultation with Dr. John Thompson, you will discuss any health related issues and concerns. You will also learn about your potential treatment options.
History and examination
In order to pinpoint the problem, the doctor will ask you a number of questions related to your condition. A variety of targeted test will be preformed to determine
Xrays
Your specific condition may require xrays to be taken to either rule out a more serious condition or assist us in assessing the most effective treatment plan for you.
Activator adjustment
After your exam and consultation and possible xrays are completed you will receive your first Activator adjustment.
Home Instructions
Before leaving you will make your next appointment and be given any instructions to keep you as comfortable as possible until your next adjustment
